Stampin Up Endless Birthday Wishes

image

Endless Birthday Wishes is the latest Photopolymer Stamp Set add to the stampin Up Collection.

What makes them so great?

They’re entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
Can you say sticky? (Don’t worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
They’re age tested. They won’t yellow or cloud up over time.
We could go on, but we’ll let you try them for yourself.
They are clearly a great choice.

This card was created using the Stampin Up Blessed Easter Stamp set and the sentiment is from the wetlands stamp set. The back ground is created using the Venetian Romance Designer Series Paper.

Instructions:

Cut tangerine tango cardstock in half,  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and fold in half to form a card

Cut Venetian Romance DSP 4 x 5 1/4  and layer on front panel of card

Cut another piece of Tangerine Tango 2 7/8 x3 1/8, for focal  image base

Cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock 2 3/4 x 4″, stamp the tulip stamp from the blessed Easter stamp set onto the left side of the focal panel. Then stamp your sentiment.

cut some 1/4″ ribbon to 9″ and fold in half

Layer the folded ribbon leaving the tails showing and glue it under the 2 3/4 very vanilla focal image piece.  Attach the ribbon and focal image on top of the tangerine tango cardstock focal image base

Next stamp on scrap very vanilla cards stock 2 tulip images in stazon black, color them using tangerine tango classic ink and the daffodil delight ink for highlights. You can us the blender pen to give it a water color effect by taking the blender pen and dip it into the ink pad lid ( use a closed ink pad and press down on the lid to transfer ink from the pad to the lid)  or if you have the refills just use a drop on your craft mat and dip the blender pen tip in the ink and color. ( be careful not to over saturate your paper so you don’t cause it to rip)  Use the same technique to color in the stems and leaves with Old Olive classic ink, Cut out the images and set aside.

Now pop up the focal image using the stampin dimensional and add the cut out tulip image on top of the stamped image also using stampin dimensionals

For the inside of the card cut a base card of very vanilla, 4 x 5 1/4, center and glue to card,

at the bottom cut and glue a 4 x 1″ piece of Venitian Romance DSP.

Finally add the other cut out tulip and glue it to the left bottom corner and enjoy.

Happy Day

I created this card from my good friend, Brandy Cox’s 10 cards in 20 minutes series. I used the Happy Day stamp set that is currently on the retired list, so if you want it you will need to act fast before its sold out. You can use any lace or dolly type stamp to create your own version of this elegant card and if you don’t like black and white, I also  created several of these in calypso coral and white, just let your imagination take over.

For the video tutorial you can go to Brandyscards.com and search for happy day or 10 in 20 and you will see all the dimensions and instructions on how to create this quick easy card. the circle frame on the inside was created using the Stampin Up circle framelits, item # 130911.
