Happy Birthday Invitation

Happy Birthday Invitation:

imageimage

This project of love was created for a special young lady that will be celebrating her 17th Birthday.

She requested a monogram simple but elegant invitation to give to all of her loved ones and friends.

So I pulled out some of my retired stamp sets and put them to work, the inside was created using the Stampin UP Creative Elements Stamp Set, Versa Mark Water Color Ink, and Silver Embossing Powder.

For the cover I used the Stampin Up Lovely Letters Stamp set, basic Jewels colored with my Blendabilieties Marker, 5/8″ Silver Satin Ribbon, Silver Glimmer Paper and a Crafters Companion Embossalicious Flouris Embossing Folder.

This simply elegant card invitation was so much fun to do and it is always nice to pull out my older stamp sets and allow my creative juices to take over.

The Cardstock, Ribbon, Scallop Punch, Circle Punch, Basic Jewels and Inks are current Products from Stampin Up.

To purchase please click on the “Shop Now” link to the right and it will redirect you to my online store or you may click on the items list image below.

Thank You Daddy, I miss you!

Hey Crafters,

I would like to thank all of the Veterans, Active Service Men, Women and their families that are serving and have severed our proud country in the armed forces.

As a daughter of a world war II Veteran and Aunt of an Active Servicemen I understand some of the sacrifices that your families may endure while serving this country, to afford us the freedoms we may sometimes take for granted. So I would like to give you a special thanks from me to you and I pray that God keeps you and protects you as you continue to insure the freedom and peace of our nation and surrounding neighbors.

Thank You!

Stampin Up Blendabilities Are Here!

I am so excited the wait is over!image

Blendabilities Alcohol Markers are now available!

Earlier this month, Stampin Up allowed demonstrators to purchase the Blendabilities Alcohol Markers on pre-release. I love these markers and I must say, they are really fabulous as well as cost friendly. When I compared them to other alcohol markers I was very impressed.

Blendabilities are dual tipped one end is a fine point and the other is a brush tip, the colors are vibrant and rich, Stampin Up has pulled out all the stops with this one.

I have used other Alcohol markers and I like them as well but… Stampin Up has equipped the Blendabilities with what I love from my other markers into one marker. They have also taken the guess work out of trying to find like color shades that will allow me to get that progressive blend from dark to light or light to dark.

With the Blendabilities you will get 3 coordinating shades of one color for each color group. If you have the Cherry Cobbler Ink, Card Stock and ribbon you now can color an image using the Cherry Cobbler Alcohol markers to blend your image, it will come in dark, medium and light shades all for 11.95. Yes, that’s 3 markers for $11.95!

If you are familiar with the other alcohol markers out there you know that they run about $7-$8 for one marker. With Blendabilities you will get 3 coordinating shades of each color group, that’s 3 alcohol markers in dark, medium and light.

What Sets Them Apart:

  • The Stampin’ Up! rectangular barrel keeps your markers from rolling away!
  • Flat storage helps to maintain the life of each marker.
  • Each marker comes with a tip on each end: brush and fine.
  • Marker tips are made of nylon, which is superior to polyester which can fray.
  • Color coded caps.
  • Stampin’ Up! markers coordinate wonderfully with our cardstock, and can be used with transparent sheets.

Stampin Up will release the other 6 colors listed in the annual catalog next month.
