Crocheted Baby Blankets and Accessories By Leah

Princess Dress

This crocheted baby dress is in size 0-6 months and  was made using Caron Simply Soft 100% acrylic yarn, crystal buttons, crystal studs, shimmering tulle and ribbon.

The dress is machine washable on the gentle cycle and laid flat to dri.

The original pattern was created by Crystal Doedtman of the Bag-O-Day Crochet as a Christening Gown so I made a different version of the original and adjusted it to be a shorter special occasions dress. It is a simple pattern that can be instrumental in creating several other dresses just by using a different stitch. I love the fullness and the beautiful softness of the dress. I changed the bottom edging and made some other small changes to get the look and shape I wanted. The shimmering tulle is soft but I use a baby slip under it so that the tulle and buttons don’t touch the babies skin.

I love this elegant baby dress and it would be a great dress for those precious baby pictures and babies first trip to Church. If you would like to purchase this dress please contact me at I have one currently available for purchase. The pattern can be purchased at Crystal’s Etsy Shop, and she does a complete YouTube tutorial on how to make the Princess Gown.

Pretty In Pink Baby Cardigan Set

This baby set was inspired by an old pattern I found online, I will gladly post the link below if you would like to purchase the pattern. I recreated the booties from trial and error after finding out the pattern size was to large and I wanted to do mine for a newborn. This project was not hard at all and crocheted up quickly. The directions were a little qwerky, it may have been poorly translated from another language but I was able to figure it and and I love the results. Hope you like it!

I will post the link shortly.

Regal Baby Chevron Blanket and Beanie

This baby boy blanket was crocheted using Vanna’s Choice Kelly green (by client’s request) and Bernat Baby Cream 4 worsted weight yarn. The stitches used are shells and double crochet slant stitch in a single crochet chevron pattern.

The body of this pattern is my own abbreviated version of the best of Mary Maxine’s Rippled Wave Blanket. The edging I created using shell and picot clusters. This blanket measures 36 x 43 and was a joy to crochet. The cost of this blanket is $125.00 with monogram and takes about 2-3 weeks to create.
